Today, Paradox Interactive announced Cities: Skylines' latest DLC, Sunset Horizon, and that it will be available next week on March 26th for PC and consoles.
Key features include having control of fishing boats at sea and fish farms, which help diversify the player's portfolio. Players will also have to ensure that four new policies are followed so that businesses can deliver the best and freshest fish to grocery stores for civilian consumption.
However, if you don't have an open water source, Water Treatment Plants will process wastewater so that the player will be able to reuse it.
New bus systems for transporting your citizens will be added, including the Intercity Bus Service that will transit between cities on the highway, including a Trollybus Service that will provide an eco-friendly solution by introducing electric power sources and overhead wires.
There will also be a Passenger Helicopter service, which will allow people to travel to places in an entirely different manner. The Aviation Club also encourages small plane owners to recreationally fly that will help add to the attractiveness and entertainment of your city.
There will be five new maps added as well, including boreal, tropical, and temperate locales.
Last but not least, players will be able to upgrade their management waste capabilities with Transfer Facilities that improve trash handling without compromising the makeup of the city and the overall land value.
Along with Sunset Harbor, Paradox also announced that they would be launching more content next week as well, including a new Content Creator Pack and a new Radio Station. These content packs will launch on March 26th as well.
