Today, development team Luminous and publisher Iceberg Interactive announced their newest title, Circle Empires Rivals for a Steam release in early 2020. The anticipated sequel to Circle Empires will include online multiplayer, a first for the series.
Circle Empires Rivals features fast-paced action and hundreds of different units, allowing players to come up with dozens of clever strategies as they fight to control a procedurally generated world of circles that makes each game unique. Players will have to come up with new strategies in order to defeat their foes, gather resources, and increase their power so that they can they alone can become the ruler of circles. Well, maybe not that last bit, but in this game you'll definitely see a lot of circles.

Regarding other features, units can gain XP and level up, players will be able to play in co-op as well as online, there will be over 250 different units and buildings, harvestable resources and level-ups, and 25 different faction leaders, including many different bonuses for players to utilize. There will be 40 different boss monsters that players can hunt, and a large selection of difficulty options for those of any skill level.
