Publisher Deep Silver and developer Torn Banner Studios revealed their medieval first-person combat title, Chivalry 2, is coming to next-generation consoles. The title is considered the sequel to sequel Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. The game manages to deliver an authentic experience "inspired by epic medieval movie battles."

We are already anticipating Chivalry 2's release following our first glimpse of the title at PC Gaming Show at E3 2019. Users managed to spot Deep Silver's YouTube channel posting a trailer promoting the game's arrival on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Since the video was first available it has been set to private. It's likely the trailer was incorrectly scheduled amid the PC Gaming Show moving it's date. Not only that, a certain part towards the end of the trailer specifically promoted cross-play across all platforms.

While we know Chivalry 2 will release on Xbox Series X and PS5, whether it will be available at launch or a post-release title is still in the air. The same goes for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We will update our readers once a release date is set in stone. Make sure to check out the game's announcement trailer below for a look at its tremendous combat and continuous action.

What do you think of Deep Silver and Torn Banner Studios enabling players on all platforms to play together? Are you going to pick it up on release for PS5 and Xbox Series X or maybe wait a little? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below.
