The Miasma Caves release date has been announced for January 2019. We're now one step closer to diving into adventure with an adorable dragon girl!
Miasma Caves is an upcoming game by indie developer Windy Games. I first got to see it in action at Play NYC 2017 and liked what I had seen so far. One year later, the game showed noticeable improvement with a bunch of graphical enhancements and a good bit more in the way of gameplay at Play NYC 2018.
It's a fun game and people will get to play it very soon now that we've heard the Miasma Caves release date for Early Access will be in January 2019. An Early Access Trailer has accompanied this announcement made via a press release - check it out!
The trailer gives you a pretty good idea of what the game is like. It's going to be coming to a digital storefront near you early next year: the Miasma Caves release date is January 23, 2019.
If you're curious about the game, it's a relatively straightforward experience. The adorable dragon girl Lesath is the most experienced treasure hunter in all of Radiant Ridge. You'll dive into the titular caves to find some of these goodies. Hopefully, you'll be able to bring them back to the surface to be appraised. You can then use your earnings to buy better equipment, upgrade the town, or pop over to the inn for a delicious meal. There are over 150 things to find underground in all in the Early Access build of the game.
Key to the experience is the lack of combat. That's not to say that there's a lack of danger - cave-ins and annoying monsters abound. Your main focus will be on avoiding the hazards and getting away with your loot rather than swinging a +4 Warhammer of Slime Smashing.
You'll be able to pick up this game early next year if it sounds like your kind of jam. The Miasma Caves release date for Steam Early Access is January 23, 2019. In the meantime, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
