Canada Cup, the largest fighting game event in the last quarter of the year, has arrived. It's the last open-registration premiere of the Capcom Pro Tour, leaving only two regional finals left, but it's also home to its famous 5-on-5 region-based team tournament, featuring top players representing Europe, America, South East Asia, and Japan. Canada Cup 2017 is also holding the biggest Ultra Street Fighter IV tournament since Street Fighter V's release.
In addition to the headlining games, tournaments were also held for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, Tekken 7, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, The King of Fighters XIV, and Injustice 2.
Streaming was handled by Capcom Fighters, Battle for the Stones, Canada Cup, Canada Cup 2, Canada Cup 3, and Canada Cup 4, all on Twitch.
