Season 2 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Warzone 2.0 is just around the bend and today we get to witness what to expect from the update.
Reloaded is the latest update to hit Warzone 2.0, where there are new maps to explore and wreak havoc, new camos to unlock via challenges, and a new weapon. The new map, titled Himmelmatt Expo, is a new core 6v6 multiplayer map set in a mountainside environment in Europe. There are also quite a few new party modes, such as Drop zone where players will capture the drop zone to earn points in this team-based battle. All or Nothing gives you just a pistol with no ammo and throwing knives, and it is up to you to get to 20 kills with just those two weapons. As you kill players, you will be given perks, such as Scavenger which allows you to pick up ammo to use to wreck the opposition.
The new weapon is called the Tempus Torrent, which is a marksman rifle like the SKS but deals high damage and fires in quick succession. The new gun can be unlocked by completing the in-game weapon challenge or purchasing it through the store with the Store Bundle deal. There will be more Store Bundles added throughout the season, such as the Tracer Pack: Padraig’s Pandemonium Bundle, Generation XRK, and the Raid Bundle Season 02: Deepwater.
There is a new social feature rolling out with the update as well that allows players to join their friends automatically once they have finished an active match. This feature is called Party Queuing and it can be accessed in the in-game social menu.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Warzone 2.0 Reloaded will go live on March 15, 2023, and is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
