Bundle Stars SEGA Genesis Steam

Bundle Stars,a website that offers frequent deals on Steam games based on genre or series, is offering a week long deal on select titles from the classic SEGA Genesis console.

You can "pick and mix" from sixty-five diverse titles, ranging from SEGA's mascot Sonic the Hedgehog series, to the beat 'em up series Streets of Rage, to the turn-based role playing games Shining Force and Shining Force II. The "Pick and Mix" bundles are available at five Steam keys for $1.99, ten Steam keys for $3.49, or twenty Steam keys for $4.99.

This bundle deal will end on July 28, 2016. Bundle Stars is currently also running bundle sales on independent development games, Batman: Arkham Knight and its downloadable content, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and its downloadable content, and the Quake series.

Quick Take

I'm pretty familiar with the Humble Bundle line of deals, but until today I had never heard of Bundle Stars. Honestly, if they routinely do "Pick and Mix" bundle deals like this, I'm sold.  There are some really good titles in that bundle—some I'd been eyeing for a while, especially Shining Force—and I think just about anyone could find something they like there. I'm glad to know that there are more bundle sites than just Humble Bundle; it adds some real diversity to outlets you can buy from. I do wish the first Phantasy Star was in the bundle—I know it was on the SEGA Master System, not the SEGA Genesis. It would have been nice to get all of the original Phantasy Star games at once, but it's not a big detraction for me.

What are your thoughts on this bundle? Do you think you'll buy one? If so, what games will you get? Let us know in the comment section below.
