Bounty Battle Brings Indie Games Together to Battle This September

The Bounty Battle release date has finally been announced and it's not too far away — this crossover fighting game is bringing a bunch of indie darlings together in a new 2D fighter where indie darlings can beat the heck out of each other.

What is Bounty Battle all about? Well, check out the Bounty Battle Roster Trailer to see some of the many characters making an appearance!

If you haven't caught on by now, Bounty Battle can best be thought of as a sort of Super Smash Bros. for indie games. Stars from Darkest DungeonSteamworld DigGuacamelee!, and other titles come together to fight it out,

Best of all, you won't have to go it alone — this game supports fights with up to three other players in any of the many worlds from these various indie games. Now, the Bounty Battle release date has finally been locked in — and it's all set to arrive in September 2020.

Much like Super Smash Bros.Bounty Battle is all about bringing various game worlds together and then having them fight it out for funsies. Have you ever wondered who the Darkest Dungeons folks will deal with the dude from Steamworld Dig? Well, you can soon find out!

When is the Bounty Battle Release Date?

If you're keen on seeing Guacamelee!'s Juan Aguacate elbow-dropping Owlboy, then there's good news: it's all set to launch next month. The Bounty Battle release date is September 10, 2020, for PC and consoles.

This game is looking like it will be a boatload of fun! If you're one of those Humble Bundle addicts that owns most of these games (or you just like playing new, novel fighters), then you should buy it when it launches next month. For now, you can add Bounty Battle to your wishlist on Steam.
