Book of Superhot

SUPER. HOT. SUPER. HOT. SUPER. HOT.

If you've ever played SUPERHOT you know that's mandatory when talking about the game, well, ever. Yet you may not expect to see it pop up in a news piece about action RPG Book of Demons. Thankfully, a crossover event makes such a thing possible.

Starting yesterday and running until October 24th, there's going to be new daily challenges added into Book of Demons. These challenges will all follow the same theme that SUPERHOT does: time only moves when you do. The challenges will change out three times a week, and there's a total of seven different challenges for you to participate in. During these challenges the game's art style will also change, going for the white, black, and red look that made SUPERHOT stand out from the crowd. Even better, the SUPERHOT styled gameplay won't just be limited to the challenges. At any point you can go into the settings and check a box called "Superhot Mode" and this will turn on the same "time only moves when you do" style for the rest of the game.

In addition to this, the developers are running a little contest. If you join their Discord server you can enter. The goal is to give a name to a boss in Book of Demons that would fit in the world of SUPERHOT. The best three names will be picked, and the winner will get a copy of both Book of Demons and SUPERHOT. The winner gets picked on the 24th when the event ends, so if you want to get your name out there then you better start thinking now.

How do you feel about this crossover event? Do you have any good boss idea names that you want to share with us? Have you ever once managed to talk about SUPERHOT without repeating those two words over and over? Let us know in the comments below!
