Blue Reflection Sun Xiao Meiqi

DMM and Koei Tecmo released another trailer for the upcoming mobile and PC JRPG Blue Reflection SUN.

The video reveals another of the heroines who we'll be able to recruit to our team,  Xiao Meiqi. She's a young lady with a strong sense of justice and a gentle personality that lead her to put the needs of others ahead of her own. However, she's easily misunderstood by her peers due to how earnest attitude and her difficulty expressing herself.

She has been fighting against the Ash for longer than anyone else and she acted as the leader of the team until the arrival of the hero.

She is voiced by Hina Tachibana, whom you may have heard as Minato Todo in Lost Judgment and Nagi Hisakawa in The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls,

Her trailer follows another that introduced Alecia Yuu Morisaki. You can watch it below, showing both gameplay and cutscenes.

If you're not familiar with Blue Reflection SUN, it's the latest game of the Blue Reflection series of JRPG by Gust and Koei Tecmo, announced back in 2021 and then kept under wraps until a few months ago.

It's coming for PC and mobile and doesn't have a firm release date yet. For now, only a Japanese launch has been announced and we don't know whether it'll ever be localized in English. If I had to bet money on it, my answer would be "no" but I have been proven wrong before.

It's defined as a "heroic JRPG" and it features the first male protagonist of the franchise, which previously was exclusively focused on its schoolgirl heroines with Blue Reflection and Blue Reflection: Second Light released respectively in 2017 and 2021.
