Blue Reflection Sun Alecia Morisaki

DMM and Koei Tecmo released a brand new trailer for the upcoming mobile and PC JRPG Blue Reflection SUN.

This time around, we get the reveal of one of the protagonists that we'll be able to recruit to our team, Alecia Yuu Morisaki. As the name suggests, she is half-Japanese and half-Eastern European and she is a supporter of "equality" and feels some form of affinity for the Ashes that bring the ultimate equality in death. Yes, she's certainly a merry one. Due to past events, she defines herself as "Shinigami" (the Japanese version of a grim reaper) and even in the midst of the battle against the Ashes, she does not like to get directly involved with the rest of the team.

She is voiced by Sayumi Suzushiro, whom you may know for her roles as Cassandra Cappelli in Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy and Amy in Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation.

Her trailer follows another that introduced Shiho Kasuga. You can watch it below, also showing some gameplay, which never hurts.

If you're not familiar with Blue Reflection SUN, it's the latest game of the Blue Reflection series of JRPG by Gust and Koei Tecmo, announced back in 2021 and then kept under wraps until a few months ago.

It's coming for PC and mobile and doesn't have a firm release date yet. For now, only a Japanese launch has been announced and we don't know whether it'll ever be localized in English. If I had to bet money on it, my answer would be "no" but I have been proven wrong before.

It's defined as a "heroic JRPG" and it features the first male protagonist of the franchise, which previously was exclusively focused on its schoolgirl heroines with Blue Reflection and Blue Reflection: Second Light released respectively in 2017 and 2021.
