A presentation by 505 Games' parent company Digital Bros has confirmed that Bloodstained 2 and Assetto Corsa 2 are in the works. They're both quite a ways off yet, with the latter not expected for launch for at least a couple of years.

What do we know about Bloodstained 2 and Assetto Corsa 2?

Right now, we don't know too much about either, unfortunately. This news comes to us via the quarterly Digital Bros financial presentation. In the presentation, Digital Bros highlights Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night's high Metacritic score (currently sitting at 83 on PC) and expected lifetime revenues of at least 30 million euro ($36 million). The company also confirms that there is a "second version in development". Unfortunately, Digital Bros doesn't provide any kind of estimate as to when we can expect Bloodstained 2 to arrive.

A Digital Bros slide highlighting the good Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night performance and revealing a sequel

The slide detailing Assetto Corsa's achievements tells a similar story. That slide confirms that Assetto Corsa 2 is on the way, with an expected release window of 2024. There's also a mobile version coming this summer. The sequel's existence is likely down to Assetto Corsa's remarkable performance; it's sold around 12 million copies and has earned more than 66 million euros ($80 million) in revenue.

What else is next for Digital Bros and its subsidiaries?

It's going to be a packed future for Digital Bros and its subsidiaries, one of which is 505 Games, publisher of the above games (as well as Death Stranding on PC and a number of other titles). In addition to Bloodstained and Assetto Corsa sequels, there's also a second Ghostrunner game on the way, which Digital Bros expects to arrive in the first quarter of the 2022 financial year. There are also the upcoming multi-platform launches of Puzzle Quest 3 and Hawken, plus several unannounced projects that Digital Bros is keeping close to its chest.

The upcoming release slate for Digital Bros

Notably, the studio says it's working on a total of 10 "A" games, which it defines as titles with a development budget of 5 million euros at most. There's also a single "AA" game on the way that will presumably be announced in the coming weeks. We'll have to wait and see what Digital Bros and 505 Games have in store. Hopefully, we'll get more news regarding Bloodstained 2 and Assetto Corsa 2 soon.
