Bit.Trip Series and other Qubic Games Are Coming to Switch This December

QubicGames has released a Showcase for their final Switch Games for 2020 that they are releasing, and they're releasing the Bit.Trip series, Door Kickers, and DungeonTop next month. All 8 games will be out by December 26, 2020, and are all currently available for pre-purchase "with notable owner discounts applied."

The Bit.Trip series was originally released in 2009, with three games (Bit.Trip Beat, Bit.Trip Core and Bit.Trip Void) released, and then with BitTrip Runner and Bit.Trip Fade in 2010 and BitTrip Flux in 2011. Each game has rhythm and music-based gameplay that "changes the dynamic with unique twists and mechanics. All six titles will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch for December 25, 2020 for $4.99 each.

Door Kickers is a real-time strategy title that puts players in command of their own SWAT team during "tense interventions." Players will be able to plan out how they approach different situations, choose equipment, and coordinate with team members as you shoot your way to your objectives. It will be available on the Nintendo Switch on December 26, 2020, for $11.99.

DungeonTop is a rogue-like deck-building title with tabletop battles. Players can choose their hero, choose their allegiance, and then fight through procedurally generated dungeons as you build your deck and fight monsters. It will be available on the Nintendo Switch on December 26, 2020, for 13.99.

If you are one of those cool dudes that finds themselves wanting to buy a bundle, you can purchase "any one of the six standalone BitTrip games will activate a permanent discount of 60% off for the rest of the games in the series." If players already own other Qubic titles such as Robonauts, One Strike, Mana Spark, Blazing Beaks, or Akane a discount of 25% and 30% will be applied to Door Kickers and DungeonTop respectively.
