From the creators of the 2011 highly acclaimed and emotionally riveting game To The Moon comes a new story from the developers, Freebird Games, called A Bird Story. This game was hinted upon soon after the release of To The Moon, but did not see too much light until now. The story is about a boy who finds a injured bird.

Like To The Moon, A Bird Story is a hour long narrative which has very few actual controls that you can implement during its process. It also is completely speech free, and relies heavily on expressions and sounds to get its story across. Freebird games on their Facebook page describes the game as a "1-hour interactive pixel-animation about a boy who found a bird with an injured wing, told through a dialogue-free blend between reality and imagination."

They actually had to write on their Steam page "This is not To the Moon 2, and is meant to be a much lighter, whimsical short." due to the large amount of people assuming that since this game came after To The Moon, that it has to be a sequel. Although the game does take place in the To The Moon universe, and the boy in the game is said to grow up to become the patient of the two doctors of that game.

You can watch the trailer for the game here:

This game is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux and available for purchase on Steam, GOG, and for a limited time, you can also purchase it from the Humble Store. The game itself is only 5 dollars typically, but for the next two days it is 15% off. Coming along with the game is the game soundtrack, which you can either buy standalone for 3 dollars, or you can buy it with the game for just 2 dollars extra.
