Applava's roguelite twin-stick shooter Blazing Beaks is leaving its Early Access nest. The game will be getting a full release via Steam on May 10th.

Blazing Beaks has been available via Steam's Early Access program since late 2017. Applava says it concentrated on "quality over quantity" when it came to deciding what to include in the initial release. The game originally launched with around a third of the content intended for the final release. Over time, several new features were added to Blazing Beaks including daily runs, new difficulty options, and new locations and enemies. The dev is promising an "awesome update" to accompany the full Steam release of the game, although the studio hasn't disclosed exactly what that update will contain.

That's not all, though. Blazing Beaks will also be coming to Nintendo Switch on the same date. Mark out your calendars for May 10th if you're a Switch owner and a roguelite twin-stick lover. You can pre-order the game for Switch if you're so inclined. What's more, if you own any one of a number of games, you'll be able to get a 50% discount on Blazing Beaks until June 2nd. The list includes Astro Bears PartyRobonauts, and Pirates: All Aboard!, among others. Check out the full list here.

Blazing Beaks is a roguelite twin-stick shooter created by two-person development team Applava. The game is described by its developers as a "colorful world with armed birds blazing their way out through piles of mutants, monsters, and creepy creatures". Players can tackle the game solo or team up for co-op. You'll collect plenty of weapons and abilities, disintegrate hundreds of monsters, and attempt to resist the pull of dangerous artifacts.

Don't worry if you're a PS4 or Xbox One owner: Blazing Beaks will also be coming to these platforms. Sony's console will get the game in December 2019, while Xbox owners can play it in February 2020.
