A Taiwanese rating board has rated a BioShock Nintendo Switch collection.

Fans have been hoping for a BioShock Nintendo Switch release, going as far as to make a change.org petition which amassed less than 200 signatures. Now, it looks like those wishes may be coming true.

If you're unfamiliar with the BioShock games, they're the spiritual successor to the System Shock shooters that hybridized first-person shooter and role-playing game mechanics. Each game lightly explores political themes and features a heck of a lot of good shooting in various fantastical locations like an underwater city and a city floating in the sky. Now, it seems like the games might just be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

As Loot Pots reports, the Taiwanese rating has the BioShock games now listed for the Nintendo Switch with a "limit" rating for violence, tobacco and alcohol, and inappropriate speech. The games were already rated in the region for its existing platforms, so this new rating indicates that we're probably going to be getting the games ported to Nintendo's hybrid handheld console.

Will There Only Be One BioShock Nintendo Switch Release?

One question that remains is which of the games will be coming in the BioShock Nintendo Switch release.

You can see for yourself by going to the ratings board website and typing in "BioShock" in the search field, but all three games have been rated for Nintendo's console. Furthermore, it appears that BioShock: The Collection (a compilation of all three games) has also been rated, suggesting that it will be possible to get them individually as well.

Ratings usually precede an official announcement by a few weeks at most, so we'll surely be hearing more about the BioShock games on the Nintendo Switch soon.
