With the extreme speculation that's been going on around The Survivor 2299 site, which we've been keeping up to date with, we've all been waiting for some form of a response from Bethesda. We have emailed for comment, but thus far have received none, meaning either they're keeping everything close to home, or just don't want to give any more fire to the rumors. That said, many people have been wondering whether or not Bethesda would an appearance and/or reveal Fallout 4 at VGX, Spike TV's All-Day Video Game Awards event. Unfortunately, we've received confirmation that this would not be happening. Bummer!
On his personal twitter feed, Pete Hines (AKA @DCDeacon and the Vice President of Bethesda Softworks) made the announcement seen below, that Bethesda would not be making an appearance at VGX.
No, folks. I am not going to VGX. Bethesda is not showing/talking about anything at VGX. Just some PR meetings in LA. Take deep breaths.

So, does this mean that we won't be finding out if TheSurvivor2299.com is actually real? Well, hopefully we will get some answers on December 11th when the site changes again!
