Following our recent coverage for the upcoming Berserk Musou, today we now finally know that the title will launch in Japan on September 21st this year.

The news comes from Hachima Kikou (thanks gematsu for the translation), which shared a flyer that was intended for retail store promotion. This flyer was originally shared by Twitter user @earlbox, who tweeted out the following images. In addition to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions, the flyer has also shown that there will be a PlayStation 3 version on launch.

Berserk Musuo Release Date

As you can see from the images (above), the flyer does feature screenshots of Guts and Griffith standing side by side. Given the screenshots and how the story is said to take place both during and after the Golden Age arc, it is possible to assume that Griffith will be a playable character in Berserk Musou.

In accordance to Anime News Network, both Koei Tecmo Europe and Koei Tecmo America have confirmed that there will be a Western release for Berserk Musou. No details released as of yet for when we can expect these versions.

In addition to this, further E3 interviews from Gamer (thanks Anime News Network for the translation) have revealed that Koei Tecmo may also be looking at releasing an Xbox One version of Berserk Musou exclusive to the West. If true, this would not be the first time that Koei has released a console version exclusive to a certain region, as the Xbox One version of Arslan: The Warriors of Legend was also an exclusive for the West.
