Yet another simulator has been announced, but this one looks to be a bit more interesting than most. Let's School, the latest title from Pathea Games, the developers and publishers of My Time at Sandrock and My Time At Portia, is a pixel-style school simulator. You'll have the power to control every aspect of your old school, which has recently fallen on hard times. There are dozens of facilities and hundreds of different teaching apparatuses that you can use, with the main goal of ensuring students' performance is high enough to secure more funding for the next academic school year.
Brand Manager Alice Zhou had this to say about Let's School:
Let’s School is a bit of a departure from what the world knows us for, but after being prototyped by our producer Lanka for 18 months everyone at the studio just fell in love with the project. Since then the team has grown substantially to a handful of developers and we’ve been blown away by what they’ve been able to achieve. Any fans of management sims are going to get a big kick out of this one.
While running your school optimally is the end goal, you also have to contend with characters who have their own interests and motivations that may run counter to your own. If you deny a certain club, sports meeting, or morning exercise, for instance, you might enrage or enrich your students--it's up to them how they're going to react. No two play sessions should play the same, especially when you have random emergencies, contraband, and dynamic seasons popping up.
