Have you reached enlightenment? If you haven't, you might be able to with the help of the Honey, I Joined A Cult release date, which will be launching on Steam out of its Early Access program on November 3rd. As you might expect from the title, it's a quirky management simulator, of which there are dozens, but this one in particular really leans into its motif, which should hopefully help it stand out in a crowded genre. Let's take a closer look at it, shall we?
What's Honey, I Joined A Cult all about?
It's about cults. Shocking, I know, but I'm trying to cultivate something here, so just bear with me, okay? Things might get a little cultish around here, especially as you try to maintain your own cult. If you're still here after my horrific puns, you'll be happy to know that in this game you'll be designing your cult from the ground up, making decisions ranging from the deity your followers will worship to the location of the discombobulator. No, it's not Sherlock Holmes, sadly.
Balancing the books is part and parcel of running your own cult, which means you'll need "therapies" for your followers to pay up for. There are also law enforcement personnel, government agencies, and angry protestors that might try to ruin your godly flow, but since you're a cult leader they are all easily solvable problems. What's not so easily solvable is your cult leader's ego, which will flare out of control and must be kept in check.

If you want to flex your cultish muscles, you can join the cult right now on Steam, where it's currently 25% off ($14.99) until September 26th. While the Honey, I Joined A Cult release date is just over a month from now, the game has received a bunch of updates and should be in a pretty good spot right now if you want to dabble before it leaves Early Access.
