Premiering at IGN's Summer of Gaming 2020 is the 3D platformer Demon Turf by Fabraz, the studio behind Slime-San. This game will have players platforming through a wide variety of worlds to beat up demons and become the Queen of the Demon World.
Demon Turf is a 3D platformer with an attitude taking place in the Demon World. The many demons in this world are formed up into gangs, each with their own head honchos. At the top of this food chain is the Demon King itself! However, one demon named Beebz, a young demon barely a millennium old, is looking to prove everyone wrong, take down all of these turf leaders, and become the Demon Queen.
Demon Turf boasts a unique 2D/3D aesthetic that's likely to remind people of games like Paper Mario or Parappa the Rapper. Players will have to combine clever platforming, the ability for players to place their own checkpoints, and a physics-driven combat system to make their way through the Demon World.
The many different turfs in Demon Turf constantly introduce new challenges and can be revisited after defeating their boss experience whole new levels. When they're not busy trying to become the Demon Queen, players can pictures and selfies for fun or take part in a Photo Hunt mode to take pictures of hidden areas and surprising moments. Players can also buy a variety of mods to change their playstyle, or simply some dyes and pets if they're looking to change up their style.
Demon Turf is releasing in 2020 or 2021 for Steam, the Epic Games Store, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
