During the PC Gaming Show today, Rebellion showed off their first gameplay trailer for Evil Genius 2: World Domination.

In this game, you can live out your inner super villain fantasy. Think Despicable Me or your favorite Bond villain. You can design a fortress - your evil villain lair - and have an army of henchmen, or "minions", to do your bidding. They will build out your super evil villain hideout, and construct your very own "Doomsday Device" (no super-villain hideout would be complete without one). Depending on your play-style, you can train different minion specialists to do specific types of evil bidding.

These minions build your base, but you can also send them on missions. The missions span the globe and can involve all kinds of tasks, even apparently supernatural ones like pulling out the Arthurian sword from the stone. You can also do less supernatural acts like selling the British Royal Family or baking Alaska.

But you don't just send minions on missions. You also have to protect yourself from the secret agents out to get you - the James Bonds of the world. This usually involves stopping them with goofy traps like gigantic boxing gloves, huge pinball bumpers, or the delightful "Venus Spy-Trap."

All of this leads, obviously, to world domination. What super villain wouldn't want that?

If being your own bad guy has been your lifelong dream, check out Evil Genius 2: World Domination on Steam. As of now its release window is simply 2020.
