Two Platinum Games Classics in One Package
If you're unfamiliar with Platinum Games, they're a company that excels at making high-flying action titles in the vein of stuff like the O.G. Devil May Cry games. With titles like Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and NieR: Automata under their belts, they've certainly built up an impressive catalog of action titles.
Now, two games from Platinum's back catalog are being united in the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle.
The Games of the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle
Unsurprisingly, there are two games in this bundle, so here are some quick details about each of them.
Hundreds of years ago, Bayonetta was chilling with her fellow witches, keeping the balance between dark and light. One day, she awakens from a hell of a long nap to discover that the world looks very different from what she remembered.
You'll use your hair magic — yes, hair magic — to uncover the mystery of what happened to you and the war between these two magical factions while busting more butts than a city bus with bad suspension. Oh, and you have guns on your high heels because why not.
In a world where Earth's population of people has grown out of control, the United States has launched a space colony to beam down energy to the planet below and keep the lights on.
Regrettably, a Russian coup d'etat has led to a rogue military faction capturing the station (called Providence) and using the microwave beam to burn up some American cities. You'll get equipped with the experimental Augmented Reaction Suit to keep you alive as you head up to the space station to save it from those damn space commies!
And that's all! As Gematsu reports, you'll likely be able to buy the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle at the Microsoft Store on February 18, 2020. There's not yet any word if it's coming to any other platforms for now, but the odds are good that it'll be a worthwhile deal!
