Diablo III Eternal Collection will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch on November 2, 2018, according to an announcement video and a press release from Blizzard Entertainment.
It's been a few years since the release of Diablo III, and the Diablo III Eternal Collection wraps up all of the game's content (including the Reaper of Souls expansion and the Rise of the Necromancer pack) into one neat package. This package has now been confirmed to be making its way to the Nintendo Switch in a little under two months. Have a look at the announcement video for yourself to see a bit of the game in action and some delightfully cheesy acting from respected gaming luminaries:
All of the greatness of D3 will be present on Nintendo's flagship console. You'll be able to go it alone or play co-operatively with up to three of your friends using either Joy-Cons or Pro Controllers. You'll also be able to play the game with the console docked, on the go, or a mix of the two if you've got some friends over.
Aside from the game's 5 act campaign, you'll also be able to participate in random dungeons or the ever-changing Seasons that help to keep the game fresh. The game making its way to a Nintendo system was inadvertently revealed in mid-August of this year. It will be the first Blizzard Entertainment game on a Nintendo console in 15 years.
The Nintendo Switch version of the game will also include some unique goodies for players on that console: a cosmetic Ganondorf transmogrification set, a Cucco companion pet, a Triforce portrait frame, and unique cosmetic wings. If you'd like to get your hands on D3 for the Switch, you won't have to wait long - it releases to the wider world on November 2, 2018. You can pre-order it digitally or physically via Nintendo's website.
