The first episode of Batman - The Telltale Series recently made its debut and already has fans clamoring for the second. Episode 1, Realm of Shadows, focused on Bruce Wayne and the relationships between characters playing to the strengths of Telltale. Combined with Telltale's classic comic book visual style and a talent-filled voice acting pool including Troy Baker as Bruce Wayne and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle, it has received praise from both critics and fans in the process. The second episode of Batman - The Telltale Series will be titled Children of Arkham and will be releasing on September 20th for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Other platforms like iOS, Android, and previous gen consoles have not yet received a release date but Telltale said they will be releasing that information later this month in a blog post on their website.
There will be a live play event at PAX West for the episode so if you're at PAX West and want to see Children of Arkham early it will be played in its entirety September 3rd at 8:30 PM in the Wyvern Theatre at the Westin. Telltale has stated that this will be their first public use of their new Crowd Play feature, which allows members of the audience to influence how the game progresses using their mobile devices to vote for different outcomes in the game. The event will be hosted by Dan Casey from The Nerdist and there will be some sort of giveaway as well.
You will also be able to purchase physical copies of Batman - The Telltale Series starting September 13th in North America and September 16th in Europe. The physical copy will be a 'Season Pass Disc' that will essentially include the first episode and will give you access to the four future episodes as they become available digitally.
