Today Azur Lane publisher Yostar hosted a new livestream from Japan introducing the upcoming major event for the popular mobile game, focusing on the Royal Navy faction.

The event is titled Revelations of Dust and it'll begin on February 23. It'll be available in the game until March 9.

It'll introduce plenty of new shipgirls including Ultra Rare aircraft carrier Implacable, Super Rare light cruiser Scylla, Super Rare battleship Royal Oak, Elite light carrier Argus, and Epite destroyer Hero. Royal Oak and Hero will be available via points and the point shop, so you won't need to get lucky with the gacha to get them.

New skins coming with the event include one for each of the new shipgirls plus Umikaze, Janus, Marblehead, and Prinz Heinrich. Players will be able to try the skins for Implacable, Royal Oak, and Marblehead via rental tickets. We also get the reveal of Queen Elizabeth Meta.

Below you can check out an anime-style trailer for the event and a gallery with all the new shipgirls and skins.

If you're not familiar with Azur Lane, it's a popular mobile game published by Yostar, available for iOS and Android. It's a shoot'em up/RPG hybrid and it's free-to-play with the inevitable gacha-fueled microtransactions.

It's worth mentioning that Compile Heart is working on a sequel of the console game Azur Lane: Crosswave, but we haven't heard much about it since it was teased in September 2021. We're probably get a further reveal during one of these livestreams, but quite obviously, it isn't ready for prime time just yet.
