The Limited Edition PS4 box set for Azur Lane: Crosswave

The original Azur Lane launched for mobile devices back in 2017. The side-scrolling shooter takes place in a world in which "personified battleships" fight one another. Azur Lane: Crosswave is an enhanced remake of Azur Lane which will debut on PlayStation 4 and PC next year. Unlike the original, Crosswave is a fully 3D shooter rendered in Unreal Engine 4.

Some of the many new features added in Azur Lane: Crosswave include full 3D aiming support, two entirely new playable characters (Shimakaze and Suruga), and a new Photo Mode. You'll be able to choose from over 25 characters and over 30 support characters to take on the game's missions. Azur Lane: Crosswave will include a Story Mode with 7 chapters. Two extra modes - Extreme Battle and Episode mode - add more missions and extra content to the game.

You'll be able to grab Azur Lane: Crosswave on PlayStation 4 and Steam next year. No word yet on a concrete release window.
