An Atomicrops Epic Games Store exclusivity deal has been struck in advance of the game's release later in 2019. This upcoming indie roguelite game was announced earlier in 2019 and was stated to be coming to PC and consoles before the year was out, but no particular digital distribution service had been tapped for this title. Now, indie publisher Raw Fury has stated that Atomicrops will be coming exclusively to the Epic Games Store.

The developer commented on the Atomicrops Epic Games Store exclusivity in a press release along with the announcement that the PC version would launch this year and that the console versions were going to be pushed back to 2020. Here's the relevant passage that explains their reasoning:

In the indie dev world, nothing is guaranteed. Studios work incredibly hard on passion projects with strong hopes that their title will grab a foothold with audiences, but the harsh reality of development is that there are too many games going unnoticed when they’re finally released to the masses. This agreement with Epic allows Atomicrops to flourish before it launches and the cushion provided brings some peace of mind for its creators as they continue pouring their heart and soul into the game.
Aside from the move to the Epic Games Store, it's been noted that the console versions of the game have been pushed back to sometime in 2020. Hopefully, the PC release will remain on track to launch before the end of 2019.
