Atlanta Reign Homestand Games and Los Angeles Valiant Homestand Games have been announced by the Overwatch League. This is coming on the heels of the Dallas Fuel doing the same yesterday, making for the second and third instances when the Overwatch League will be hosting regular season games outside of the Blizzard Arena in Los Angeles County.

Homestand Games mark the first time when regular season Overwatch League matches will be taking place outside of the Blizzard Arena in Los Angeles. These will be weekend-long events where three lucky home cities will be able to see their teams represent them in Blizzard's Esports league for its premier first-person shooter.

The Atlanta Reign Homestand Games will be taking place on July 6-7, 2019, the weekend after the Fourth of July. Overwatch League games typically take place on Thursday through Sunday - this means that the Atlanta Reign Home Game will close out this particular week for the league. The games will be taking place during Stage 3 of the Overwatch League. The venue for the Atlanta Reign Homestand Games has yet to be announced.

As for the Los Angeles Valiant Homestand Games, they will be taking place on August 24-25, 2019. These games will be happening at The Novo by Microsoft, a club with a seating capacity of 2,400 people. It might seem a bit strange that a Los Angeles team is getting a "home game" since the Blizzard Arena is in Los Angeles County. Even so, The Novo is a half hour's drive away from the usual venue for Overwatch League matches. A 30-minute drive in Los Angeles can often take much more than that - especially when things get busy.

You can see more details about the specific matches for the Atlanta Reign Homestand and Los Angeles Valiant Homestand games by checking out the Overwatch League Season 2 schedule. Tickets will be made available for these Homestand Games at a later date. The second season of the Overwatch League kicks off on February 14, 2019.

Will you be attending the Atlanta Reign Homestand Games or the Los Angeles Valiant Homestand Games? Do you think we'll see more of these in Season 3? Let us know in the comments below!
