Atelier Marie Remake

Today's Nintendo Direct brought a ton of announcements including the release date of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the announcement and immediate release of Metroid Prime Remastered, and the coming of Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games to the Nintendo Switch Online service, but what if I told you that there's more.

For reasons that will likely remain a mystery to anyone who isn't Nintendo, the house of Mario and Zelda skipped two relevant games in the western Nintendo Direct, the announcement of Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg by Koei Tecmo and Gust, and Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo by Square Enix

If you're wondering, the omission isn't due to the lack of a western release. Both games have already been confirmed for North America and Europe.

Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg will bring back the original Atelier game from 1997, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the series. It'll come in the summer of 2023 for PlayStation5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Excuse you, Nintendo, but this is massive news for JRPG fans and those who love the Atelier Series.

The historical JRPG is being fully remade, and you can check out a trailer below, unfortunately only in Japanese. More information will be revealed on February 20 via an anniversary livestream which will also feature Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & Secret Key.

Next, from Square Enix, we get the reveal of Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo, a supernatural mystery adventure visual novel coming to Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, iOS, and Android in March 2023.

Below you can check out an official description and a trailer.
