As reported yesterday, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed: Rogue will be coming to the Nintendo Switch as part of a collection dubbed Assassin's Creed: Rebel Collection. Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is one of the standout titles from the long-running series in which you get to play as a pirate ninja in the Carribean during the heyday of pirates.
It's a prequel of sorts to Assassin's Creed, not unline Assassin's Creed: Rogue which is a direct prequel involving characters from both Assassin's Creed 3 & 4, and Unity in which you play as a rogue assassin turned templar in the early days of colonial America. Both games in the collection will launch with all the DLC, including the Aveline DLC and the hefty Assassins Creed Freedom Cry expansion. Much like last springs re-release of Assassin's Creed 3, Assassins Creed: Rebel Collection will also be getting improved switch specific controls for aiming and ship combat as well as a touch screen hub and HD rumble. Unfortunately, like the re-release of Assassins Creed 3, the excellent multiplayer modes from Black Flag will not be available in the Rebel Collection. While this is a bummer (seriously, the multiplayer in that game was really cool) it's still an amazing value for what many consider the best game in the series.

Assassin's Creed: Rebel Collection will release exclusively on the switch on December 6th, 2019.
