Ubisoft has provided another monthly update for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, mostly to confirm the end of new content and provide some super interseting stats the players have accumlated throughout their time playing the game.
What little is new is mostly just a single new mount. Named Melaina, after the nhymp that was Apollo's lover and mother to Delphos, it's a hilariously bizarre unicorn/pegasus mix. It's mostly white, but with neon pink hooves, eyes, wings, and horn. It's amazing, and the mount will be available to purchase in the in-game store later this month. Ubisoft has also announced that, soon, they'll be dropping title update 1.5.1, which will be the final patch for Assassin's Creed Odyssey. It mostly focuses on bug fixes, and they'll be announcing more details on it later.
Additionally, Ubisoft is running a special "legendary" event where, for October only, there will be a new legendary mercernary or ship spawned into the world every single day. If you've ever missed one, now would be the chance to grab them, and you can check out the schedule of when they'll be showing up on the blog post. Additionally, you now earn 15 orichalcum from defeating an epic enemy this month, meaning you can stock up on some orichalcum to purchase some special items.
Perhaps the most interesting thing, however, is that Ubisoft has also released some stats about the game. They revealed that players have spent over 645 million hours playing the game, 1.25 million of which were spent as the player's pet bird Ikaros. They also revealed that in that time players have killed over 20 billion enemies, dismantled over 107 billion weapons, and taken over 48 million photos. In dialogue options they discovered that 68% of players took a friendly path instead of an agressive one, 66% chose truth over lies, and 57% chose gods over humans. In addition to this, when given the option, 71.5% of players chose to flirt. A full infograph with more stats is also promised later this month.
