Patch 1.3.0 for Assassin's Creed Odyssey goes live today. The update adds support for new DLC as well as a host of balance fixes.

Episode 2 of the game's Fate of Atlantis DLC will land soon, so patch 1.3.0 adds "in-game support" for this upcoming DLC. Torment of Hades will see players continuing to seek the secrets of Atlantis, following the DLC's first episode Fields of Elysium. We don't yet know when Episode 2 will actually land. Assassin's Creed community manager Dominik Voigt says the company will share more details on Torment of Hades soon. We'll let you know when there's a concrete release date for it. You'll either need to own the game's season pass or buy the Fate of Atlantis DLC to access the new episode.

The new Assassin's Creed Odyssey patch also adds "in-game support" for upcoming Lost Tales of Greece episodes. These are free episodic stories that are released fairly regularly. You can expect new Lost Tales to launch soon, although again we don't yet know exactly when. Unlike Fate of Atlantis, you won't need to buy any extra content to unlock new Lost Tales of Greece. These stories will simply become available as new missions when they're released.

Finally, Patch 1.3.0 squashes a whole host of bugs and adds some quality-of-life improvements. Players were having trouble with the quest "The Keeper and Kyros" which prevented them from completing it. This issue has been addressed, along with lots of glitches, balance tweaks, and more. Perhaps most importantly, the damage of your bird companion Ikaros has been increased. You can read the full patch notes for Assassin's Creed Odyssey Patch 1.3.0 right here. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players can already download the patch. It weighs in at 6.2GB on Microsoft's console and 9.8GB on Sony's machine. PC players will need to wait for their 6.2GB patch until 9 am EDT (that's 6 am PST).
