Patch 1.0.6 for Assassin's Creed Odyssey is live, bringing with it a host of bug fixes, extra features and a new piece of free DLC.

Titled "The Show Must Go On", the free DLC marks the first story in the Lost Tales of Greece series. These missions will be released over the next few months for free at regular intervals. If you want to access this story, you should head to the Elis region after Episode 5, and Ubisoft recommends you should be around level 34 to tackle the new content.

In addition to the free DLC, a number of new features and quality-of-life improvements are also present in the patch. It's now possible to auto-craft regular arrows if you've got enough resources in your inventory, while the cost of upgrading Gear items has been decreased. Players can now access detailed character statistics from their inventory, including attributes, modifiers and legendary perks, each of which will assist in character optimization. The Mercenary menu has been improved to display unlocked ranks and associated rewards. Finally, economic rewards earned at Mercenary Tiers have been increased.

Patch 1.0.6 also brings with it a series of bug fixes, including an issue which prevented Evie and Bayek being present as Lieutenants in the game, as well as an issue which caused Orichalcum Ore to be unlootable or misplaced on the map. You can check out the full patch notes right here. Careful, though; if you haven't finished the main story of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, these patch notes contain some pretty hefty story spoilers.

The patch comes in at 4.1GB on PS4 and Xbox One, and 3.6GB on PC. It's available to download right now for owners of Assassin's Creed Odyssey. No word yet on when the next Lost Tales of Greece episode will come out, so stay tuned for more news.
