Developer OrionGames and publisher Gamera Games have just announced the Arto release date for December 1st on Steam. Arto is an action-RPG that will have you restoring color to a desaturated world, which is definitely one of the more interesting gimmicks that I've seen for a game recently. It might not be a more traditional ARPG like Grim Dawn, but it definitely has its own unique style of its own that will turn heads. Let's take a closer look at it, shall we?
What can I expect from Arto?
With the Arto release date just under two and a half months away, you probably want to know what exactly you'd be getting into with this psychedelic action-RPG. Basically, you'll be restoring color to the world bit by bit, and in doing so you'll discover new weapons and upgrades to your kit. There are 30 bosses, each of which has its own unique abilities, motivations, and lore, to take down, too.
Multiple endings can be unlocked, and how you unlock them depends on how you explore the in-game world, how you interact with the game's NPCs, and even your own fighting style. Let it never be said that nothing you do in Arto's world has any effect!
Last but not least, the game will be available in both English and Japanese on day one, if that's something you're into. If you're interested in testing out the game before it officially launches on December 1st, the game's demo is currently available to download from Steam. There's also the main publisher's website and Twitter if you'd like to make sure you're in the running for up-to-the-minute news on Arto.
