Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has revealed how their Season Pass for Batman Arkham Knight is going to work:

The Batman™: Arkham Knight Season Pass will deliver regular new content for six months post-launch including new story missions, additional super-villains invading Gotham City, legendary Batmobile skins, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins, and new drivable race tracks.
The Premium Edition of the game will include both the main game and the season pass.
Both the Batman™: Arkham Knight Season Pass and Batman™: Arkham Knight Premium Edition are now available for pre-order from participating retailers. The Season Pass is priced at £32.99 and the Premium Edition, which includes both the Season Pass and the main game, is priced at £87.98 for console, and £67.98 for PC.
Roughly translated, the Season Pass will retail for $36.19 and the Premium Edition will retail for $96.51 for consoles and $74.57 for PC, according to current exchange rates.

In addition to that news, a new trailer dropped titled "All Who Follow You" and shows The Batman fighting alongside Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman. As well, Azrael is revealed to be in the game. Those who managed to complete his subplot in Arkham City know that he revealed to The Batman a prophecy of destruction. Arkham Knight looks to fulfill that prophecy.

The Season Pass news is certainly interesting, but maybe not for the right reasons. At roughly $40 for six months of additional content, a complaint can be raised that why not include that content in the main game? Aside from the obvious monetary incentive for Warner Bros, a counter to that complaint can be that the game is already delayed enough as it is and such content may not be necessary in terms of the main story mode. Then again, will we be buying a complete game upon release? Or will the DLC tie up the loose ends?

So what is your take? Are you will to buy the Season Pass? Or are you going to hold out to see what it brings? Tell us in the comments below.
