Ark Survival Evolved

ARK: Survival Evolved got two new biomes today for players to explore: the Swamp and the Snow. ARK: Survival Evolved is a game about survival as you spawn as a naked human and have to collect resources to build tools to survive the world.

It's not just a new area too as these regions have new creatures and items that are specific to that region. With this update creatures that were already in the game that should reside in the Swamp or Snow biome have now been moved accordingly.

In the Swamp region, players will encounter a waterlogged expanse with snakes, gators, and more. The new Beezlebufo gigantic frog joins the world as a creature you can use to vault over obstacles. Poisonous plants will also be present, but some of the loot you can get is just too valuable to pass up.

Before you get to the Snow zone be sure to put on your warmest clothes to protect yourself from subzero temperatures. Dire wolves roam the snow biome looking for food but when tamed they can be ridden and act as savage hunters. With a Dire wolf you can also take the fight to the terrifying Megalocerus "Stags" that call this land their home. As with the Swamp biome, the frosty tundra will also provide plenty of loot for you to collect and craft even better items.

If you're done with the Swamps and Snow, then you can also retire to your home. New furniture is now available to craft with styles based on the new biomes.

ARK: Survival Evolved is an early access game that is currently available for PC, Mac and Linux and is at it's lowest ever price on Humble Store for the next two days. ARK: Survival Evolved will also be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the future.

What do you think of these inclusions to ARK: Survival Evolved? Are you going to be heading out into the Swamp or Snow first? What kind of biome would you like to see added to ARK?
