Today Kakao Games released a large batch of new trailers of its upcoming MMORPG Ares: Rise of Guardians.
The trailers showcase character customization, combat gameplay, and the four exosuits that we'll be able to enjoy in the game: Warlord, Warlock, Hunter, and Engineer. We also get to see the suit change mechanic in action.
Ares: Rise of Guardians involves action-based combat wearing battle suits you may consider similar to those we saw in Exoprimal or Anthem, as you can see in today's videos.

At the moment, pre-registrations for Ares: Age of Guardians are open for the Korean market. We don't know whether Kakao intends to release the game in the West at any point in the future, and we'll have to wait and see whether this turns out to be notable or one of the many PC/mobile hybrid MMORPG crowding the local market that are dime a dozen and never go anywhere.
We'll keep you posted in case we hear more. In the meanwhile, if you're unfamiliar with Kakao Games, it's a Korean publisher focusing on MMORPG and mobile games. They brought Black Desert Online to the west before handing it back over to the developer Pearl Abyss, and they recently acquired publishing rights for the Archeage franchise, including the upcoming Archeage 2.
