Aquatico is a survival city builder set deep underwater. Developed by Digital Reef Games and published by Overseer Games, [layers will choose a strategy, obtain resources, and build a futuristic city. This is because in the not-too-distant future, Earth is a barren wasteland. Humanity's future is not in the stars, but beneath the Earth's waves, and in order to survive players will have to build a thriving underwater city and go full Atlantian. To win, players will find and secure basic and advanced resources to ensure that life goes on beneath the waves. There's also unique dangers that are inherent with an underwater environment, so players will have to be on the lookout for that as well.

Aquatico is similar to other city building titles: find resources, build structures for your civilians, and then expand your production chains to obtain higher tier resources. Rinse and repeat, but while doing this players will also have to look out for the needs of their people as best they can. As this is an underwater and futuristic experience, players will be using drones, submarines, mechanized underwater robots, and other technology that's been adapted to the new environment.

Aquatico
Atlantis won't build itself.

As one would expect from a city builder, there's new technologies and buildings that can be researched through a research tree. There's a narrative segment where players will be achieving story-related goals while also learning how to play the game, which you'll be able to do in Q3 2022, which is when Aquatico will be released on Steam.
