Green Man Gaming is publishing Investigate North’s upcoming puzzle game Aporia: Beyond the Valley. This is the developer’s second project following their online found-footage mystery game Cloud Chamber, which is no longer available to purchase. Aporia will be coming to PC later this year.

Using no text or dialogue, the game takes an experimental story driven approach to a non-linear first-person puzzle game. Set on the ancient world of Ez’rat Qin where a once thriving civilization has long fallen players awaken among the ruins with no memory of their past. As you solve puzzles and explore the dark and beautiful world you’ll discover the mystery of what happened to this world and who you are.

Niels Wetterberg, producer at Investigate North comments,

The development of Aporia: Beyond the Valley started three years ago. The writing of the story and the creation of the world has been a real adventure in itself, but hopefully only half the adventure of playing it. We can’t wait to have players immerse themselves in the rich world we have worked hard to create. We are excited to see how players will explore, react to and interpret Aporia: Beyond the Valley.
Created in CryEngine, Ez’rat Qin is a detailed world for players to immerse themselves in. The intriguing story of humanity, technology, and civilization unfolds non-linearly and allows you to explore the valley as you like and draw your own conclusions as to what happened there. Featuring an original score, Aporia: Beyond the Valley is a mystical experience.

Gary Rowe, EVP of Publishing at Green Man Gaming said that,

Bringing Aporia: Beyond The Valley to market represents Green Man Gaming's continued support of talented independent developers. It's been a labor of love for Investigate North, and we're pleased to be publishing this beautiful first person adventure.
Aporia: Beyond the Valley is available to pre-purchase on Green Man Gaming (affiliate) and the Humble Store. It will also be available on Steam when it launches later this year.
