Apex Legends Revelry Battle Pass

Today Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment released another trailer of the upcoming season 16 for the popular free-to-play shooter Apex Legends, titled "Revelry."

The trailer focuses on the battle pass, which is at the heart of the new season, and prompts players to tackle daily and weekly challenges to earn rewards including legendary skins for Crypto, Valkyrie, and the G7 Scout, epic skins for Bloodhound, Mirage, and Rampart, and reactive skins for the Mastiff.

On top of the skins, you'll also be able to unlock a music pack, loading screens, emotes, banner frames, and weapon charms.

The trailer is pretty much all about that, showing off all the cosmetics. You can watch it below, on top of a gameplay trailer for the new season and a cinematic one released a few days ago.

The new season (which releases on February 14) won't introduce a new legend, but it will bring a rework of the class system with the Legends Classes Remaster. Existing Legends will be grouped into the five available classes: Assault, Skirmisher, Recon, Controller, and Support, with each class promising meaningful perks of its own. Of course, the centerpiece of the update is the brand new team deathmatch mode, while Arenas are going the way of the dodo.

Apex Legends is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Origin and Steam. It's free-to-play, so you can jump in without paying an entrance fee, but of course, it features the inevitable optional microtransactions.

It's also one of the most-played games in the world, having passed 100 million players in early 2022. On the other hand, EA recently announced the upcoming shutdown of Apex Legends Mobile while pledging that a different mobile experience actually connected with the main game is planned
