Apex Legends New character Ballistic

The next season of Apex Legends is right around the corner, and today Respawn and EA have released a new trailer showing its gameplay.

The season is titled "Arsenal" and the focus is, of course, on the new Legend that we'll get to play. In this case, the definition is perfect for Ballistic, as he's a retired (and disgraced) former competitor who returns to the fight to protect his son.

The season will also include an update to the World's Edge map, including new points of interest, more lava, a new vault, and more. The new Weapon Mastery progression system will give players another way to sink time into the game on top of the account level, while also earning rewards.

The firing range has been redesigned from the ground up to help you train, while the Evac Tower survival item will let you move around the maps faster. You can check out the trailer and see these elements in action below.

Apex Legends is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Origin and Steam. It's free-to-play, so you can jump in without paying an entrance fee, but of course, it features the inevitable optional microtransactions.

It's also one of the most-played games in the world, having passed 100 million players in early 2022. On the other hand, EA recently announced the shutdown of Apex Legends Mobile while pledging that a different mobile experience actually connected with the main game is planned
