Amazon customers who preordered Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 are getting an unfortunate surprise today as they learn that their shipments are being delayed. Unhappy customers are reporting that the game will be getting to them in October and November, a month or two after the game's release.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, a remake/collection of the first two games in the skateboarding series, has just released today to positive reviews, but not everyone is getting it today. Instead of getting the game, those who preordered it on Amazon are getting notices from the company that their game isn't coming today, whether it's the standard edition or the collector's edition. Displeased customers taking to Twitter, ResetEra, and Reddit are reporting that according to Amazon, their games will be arriving sometime in October or November, and some don't even get a specific time frame.

Amazon had a sale on the game just a couple of days before it released today, changing the price to $33.38 instead of $40, after it had already told pre-order customers that some wouldn't be arriving until late... and apparently as some heard October, and November.

Collaborators in the comments of those posts remark that shipping problems like these aren't an isolated case with Amazon. One Twitter reply says that Amazon has a tendancy to delay or cancel the shipment of figures right on the day they release. Another person ordered a standing desk through Amazon, which decided to send it through the USPS. When the postal service decided the package was too heavy, the customer had to drive out and pick it up themselves. Shipping problems like these are getting customers worried about how Amazon will handle sending out the next-gen consoles, which are expected to release by the end of the year. Amazon has yet to make an official comment on the sudden delays on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, but they have replied to some tweets by providing a link to their FAQ on orders, deliveries, and COVID-19.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 is available now on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
