Bandai Namco revealed the first half of the season pass content with Ace Combat 7 DLC today, showcasing three new futuristic fighters. The first of the three jets will make their appearance in late May, with the other two fighters coming one and two months later.

The first DLC pack is the ADF-11F Raven, which comes outfitted with a pair of laser weapons, two different missile systems, as well as UAVs. The announced DLC will also bring some new skins for the existing F-22 aircraft, as well as the Su-30 family of fighters. Also, the forthcoming DLC updates will introduce new special weapons, as well as more squadron emblems. The ADF-11F Raven release kicks off the Ace Combat 7 DLC schedule on May 22nd.

The second Ace Combat 7 DLC pack makes the ADF-01 FALKEN playable, which has long been a staple of Ace Combat games. The FALKEN comes with a machine gun, missiles, laser weapons, and fuel-air bombs, and will be available for download or purchase on June 26th. Finally, the last DLC pack revealed thus far adds the ADFX-01 Morgan into Skies Unknown, albeit with some changes over previous appearances. Now, it comes outfitted with the standard machine gun, laser and missile systems, but now adds a "multi-purpose burst missile," as well as an electronic warfare package. The ADFX-01 Morgan will go live on July 31st.

All of the forthcoming fighters will be available for individual purchase, so if you didn't buy into the $25 season pass, you can always get your fighters piecemeal. It's worth noting that the already existing DLC, the legendary F-4E Phantom II fighter is not included in the season pass. Also, all of the Ace Combat 7 DLC aircraft won't be available in PSVR, unfortunately. Still, more content for an already fantastic dogfighting game surely can't be a bad thing. While fans are still clamoring for an online PvE mode, we may well have to wait for more of the season pass details to be revealed before such an update appears.
