It's good news if you're a fan of souls-likes, because the Lost Epic release date has just been announced for both PC and consoles. In case you're unaware, Lost Epic is a 2D Souls-like side-scrolling action RPG from publisher One or Eight and developer Team Earth Wars, and it will be releasing on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on July 28th, 2022. The game is currently available through Steam Early Access (for 25% off until May 27th) and will receive a 1.0 patch on the same day. The game's final pre-launch major content update is also available now as a thank you for supporters.

“As we prepare for the launch, it felt like the perfect time to introduce elements from our original game that put us on the map,” said Team EARTH WARS. “We thank everyone who’s supported us during Early Access and look forward to a new legion of fans on PlayStation 4 and 5 and those who waited until 1.0 to begin slaying gods for themselves.”

Lost Epic has players take the shoes of the God Slayer while defending humanity and defeating the Pantheon of Six. Players will be able to use their mystical powers alongside NPCs and other summonable heroes. Characters are customizable through a skill-tree. Items can be crafted and enchantments can be utilized to take down whoever stands in your way.

The aforementioned last major content update before the Lost Epic release date includes the most dangerous world to date: the dark Abyss. In it, players can defeat new bosses Cecilia and the Ruling King to obtain the Eyes of God. Once obtained, they can be used to look through the mists to find previously hidden paths in already-existing areas and to find the final world in Lost Epic. There will be three new foes hidden in these depths: the God of Everlasting Darkness, the Twin Gods, and the Ancient God.

On the Lost Epic release date, players will be able to play on the Sky Spire, a new world with a new raid boss. Players can use stamps to communicate with other players to defeat this new foe, or they can try to solo her and see how many times they're willing to get stomped. Players will also be able to play as characters from Earth's Dawn, Team Earth Wars' first title.

For those interested in Lost Epic, be sure to get into it now, as it's 25% off until May 27th, 2022. There will be a price hike after its launch, which makes this an even better deal. Until then, stay tuned to TechRaptor.
