A week before EGX Rezzed, Dan Marshall and the team at Size Five Games unveiled their new game: Lair of the Clockwork God. Although technically the third part in the Dan + Ben series of adventure games, this third installment is more of a standalone game, meaning players won't need to have played the previous games to enjoy it.

If you're not familiar with the Dan + Ben games, they're quasi-adventure games with clever writing and a ton of personality. The upcoming entry is no different, presenting a charming and fun adventure. The premise is as follows: Ben is a fan of classic adventure games, whereas Dan is a lover of indie platformers. Together, they must attempt to prevent all the apocalypses happening at once.
The game blends adventure game mechanics and platforming as you switch between the two characters to solve respective puzzles. It sounds really promising!
