This guide will tell you how to run your Sugardew Island Store and how you can earn both Sugardew and Harmony by selling items to the Forest Folk.

How to Sell Items in the Sugardew Island Store
You can sell items in the Sugardew Island Store by taking them into the Store, placing them on the counter, and opening the Store. Forest Folk will then come into the store, pick up items, and take them to the counter.
Every item sold will earn you Sugardew. You'll also get some Harmony if you have an active quest; you can read more about Harmony a little later in this guide.
Customers with a smiley face above their names are happy to buy whatever you're selling at a normal price. Some customers, however, will have a question mark above their name. Speaking with these customers will give you three options:
- Recommend: +50% sale price, low chance of success
- Advise: Normal sale price, moderate chance of success
- Discount: -50% sale price, high chance of success
If you fail to convince these customers to purchase an item, they will return it to the bin near the doorway. You must then retrieve the items from this bin to put them back on the Store shelves or in your storage after you've closed the Store.
You can close the Store at any time by following the button prompt at the bottom right of the screen. The Store will automatically close when you have no more goods to sell. When you leave the Store, you will be presented with a screen showing you how much Sugardew and Harmony you've earned in your sales session.
The Store can only be opened once per day. Make sure your shelves are fully stocked before you open the Store!

How to Get Harmony
In simple terms, you get Harmony by selling items in the Sugardew Island Store. You get 1 Harmony for every item you sell, regardless of what it costs. For example, selling 5 Turnips will get you 5 Harmony. You need a lot of Harmony to complete quests, especially the Level 4 and Level 5 quests that require 250 Harmony and 500 Harmony, respectively.
You can only earn Harmony with an active quest. If you've completed a quest, you can still earn Sugardew by selling items, but you won't get any more Harmony until you select a new quest.
Finally, it should be noted that you can sell items back to Tomte for much less Sugardew than you would get in the Store. Selling items to Tomte does not generate any Harmony, either; you should only sell items to Tomte in an emergency.
