Sugardew Island Bulletin Board Guide | How Friendship Works

In this guide, we'll tell you how the Sugardew Island Bulletin Board works and how you can use it to earn money and become friends with nature spirits.

How to Use the Sugardew Island Bulletin Board

You can use the Sugardew Island Bulletin Board by walking up to it and interacting with it after you've completed your first quest for the Harmony Tree in Forest Island. The Bulltein Board will show you four requests from each of the four nature spirits that you can befriend: Ignis, Sylvana, Riva, and Zephiro.

The requests on the Bulletin Board will stay available until you fulfill them. Alternatively, you can cancel them by clicking on the red X at the top right of the request. Either way, a new request from the same nature spirit will appear the following day.

The Bulletin Board is available right at the start of the game; however, you probably won't have all of the items you need until you grow them on your farm. Note that the nature spirits may also request animal products such as eggs and milk, too. 

How to Increase Friendship

You can increase Friendship in Sugardew Island by fulfilling Bulletin Board requests for the nature spirits. You won't lose out entirely, though — you'll also earn some Sugardew for completing these requests. (Unfortunately, you won't get any Harmony — you can only do that by selling items in the Store.)

Each fulfilled request will advance your friendship meter which is represented by five flowers underneath their names. The first fulfilled request will give you one flower. The second flower takes three fulfilled requests to complete, the third flower takes four fulfilled requests to complete, and so on.

Once you've filled a flower, you can take that nature spirit on a date and learn a little more about their backstory. There are four nature spirits for you to become friends with, so make sure to check the Bulletin Board daily and fulfill the Bulletin Board requests whenever you can!
