This STALKER 2 Stash Locations Map will show you how to get to some of the most difficult well-hidden stashes in The Zone.
You can make some good money in STALKER 2 by hunting down stashes, but some of them are particularly well-hidden. In this guide, we'll show you how to find some of the stashes that are playing hard to get.
STALKER 2 Stash Locations Map
Here is a map showing a selection of the most difficult STALKER 2 stash locations that we've found with their in-game names next to them. Below, we'll detail how to precisely find these stashes.
Keep in mind that the icons for these stashes will only show up on your map once you've had them revealed to you by another person, a quest, a note, etc. The icons will disappear once you've looted the stash.
The vast majority of stashes are fairly easy to find; simply pay attention to the waypoint's location and whether or not it is above or below you. However, a small portion of the stashes will require a measure of parkour or puzzle-solving to get to them.
It should also be noted that stashes appear to be randomized to a degree. Several staffers at TechRaptor have found differently-named stashes at the same location. Although the name and contents are different, the location of the stashes appears to be static.
That said, it also appears that stashes can appear or have items in them even if you don't have the icon on the map. If you see the standard Stalker backpack, you'll definitely want to check it out — it's probably loaded with goodies!
How to Access STALKER 2 Stash Locations
Here are the details on how to find and open every challenging STALKER 2 Stash location that we've found thus far. Remember, some of these stashes may not be reachable if you haven't opened up a particular area due to story progress.
You can get to pretty much every stash in the Lesser Zone at the start of the game — as long as you can survive the hazards along the way and you know where they are.
Levitating Silo Stash
To get to the Levitating Silo Stash, you'll need to climb the ladder up to the tall building. Then, jump onto the railing on the platform, hop onto the roof, and drop down into the attic with the stash.
There are a few other items in the nearby buildings; search them thoroughly to get a few more free supplies.
Pol Depot Stash
You can get to this stash in Pol Depot by heading to the icon and finding a set of stairs to the northwest. The stairs are next to four blue tanks, and the blue tanks are right next to a camp of enemy bandits.
Climb up the stairs and you'll find the stash sitting on some pipes. There is also another stash in an underground area of Pol Depot; simply head down the stairs and explore the basement to find some more loot.
The Journalist's Stash (Zalissya)
Getting The Journalist's Stash in the northern part of Zalissya is going to require some parkour. First, head to the low wooden fence northwest of the target building. Jump on top of the outhouse and head directly east along the fence.
Next, do a running crouch jump from the fence onto the roof of the house directly in front of you. You should be on the roof opposite the target building.
Jump from the roof onto the truck, then jump from the truck onto the roof of the target building.
Head toward the western side of the roof and you'll see a small awning below you.
Drop down onto the awning and head inside — you'll find The Journalist's Stash at the far side of this attic.
Northern Checkpoint Stash
The stash at the Northern Checkpoint can be a little challenging if you don't know how to deal with anomalies. First, throw a bolt at the anomaly through the window of the building to the left of the gate and jump through. You're surrounded by anomalies here, so move to a safe area as soon as you can.
Next, look for this staircase to the south of you, on the interior side of the gate:
Head up this staircase and watch out for the anomaly on the roof. You'll find a blue lockbox up here.
Poppy Field Stash
Getting this stash will require you to go through the Poppy Field, an Anomalous Area that will gradually make you fall asleep. You'll want to get in and out of the Poppy Field in under 90 seconds or you'll die unless you have a NON STOP Energy Drink to consume; it's probably a good idea to bring at least two of them with you.
Run toward the building pictured above. You'll see a collapsed roof; climb up it.
Once you're on the roof, head straight ahead toward the edge.
You'll see a small awning below you.
Drop down onto the awning.
The stash is leaning against the side of the building on this awning.
Jump down from the awning and head inside. Remember to drink a NON STOP Energy Drink if your eyes start closing more frequently! You can also find a few more items in the house.
While you're in the house, you will hear the voices of the long-gone residents. If you stay in the Poppy Field for too long, you will eventually be teleported away regardless of how many energy drinks you've consumed. If you end up being transported in this way, make a beeline for the house and finish looting as quickly as you can.
Once you have all of the loot, head for the nearest border of the Poppy Field to escape its deleterious effects.
Dire Thicket Stash
The Dire Thicket Stash is underground. There's a lot to find here, but you'll have to be careful, too.
Head to the stone structure at the marker pictured above. If you stand near the area, you'll eventually see a massive swarm of rats appear. Throw a grenade into the hole and you'll kill most (if not all) of them.
Alternatively, you can look for another similar stone structure nearby; this will have a ladder that allows you to safely climb down. You'll still have to deal with the rats before you can make it to the stash. Don't waste any AK round — a small caliber weapon like a pistol or a 9mm SMG is more than enough to kill the rats with a single shot.
Once you're done, find the exit tunnel and climb up the ladder to exit this area.
