Our STALKER 2 Arena Guide will tell you where to find the Arena and what you can expect to fight in each of the 5 Arena Rounds.

Most of the map in STALKER 2 is filled with wilderness, but you'll occasionally come across tiny bastions of civilization called bases. One of these locations has a gladiator arena of sorts where you can make some money — as long as you can survive. Read on to learn all about the Arena!

Where to find the Arena in STALKER 2

You can find the Arena in the basement of Ganja's Bar in Rosin base. Rosin can be found west of the Slag Heap.

Once you make it to Rosin, you'll have to find Ganja's Bar. You must then head to the right of his bar and downstairs to find Arnie, the man who runs the Arena fights.

Every STALKER 2 Arena Round, Explained

The STALKER 2 Arena will temporarily take away all of your weapons, armor, and items and give you a temporary set of equipment to fight against a predetermined enemy (or group of enemies). Some of these battles can be quite challenging, and you'll need to use the correct strategy in order to win. Here's what to expect!

Arena Round 1

The first round of the Arena is a pretty straightforward fight. In fact, you can win it with just two bullets. You have a PTM pistol and you are paired up with another Stalker on your side; it's a 2 vs. 2 battle against a pair of similarly-armed Stalkers. You should have no problems with this battle.

Your Equipment

  • Leather Jacket
  • PTM
  • 40 9x18mm PST
  • 1 Bandage
  • 1 Stalker, similarly armed

Enemies

  • 2 Stalkers with PTMs

Reward

  •  500 Coupons

Arena Round 2

The second Arena round

Your Equipment

  • Mercenary Suit
  • Boomstick
  • 40 12x76mm Slug
  • 1 Medkit
  • 2 Bandage

Enemies

  • 3 Blind Dogs
  • 1 Pseudodog (The mutant dog that clones itself)

Reward

  • 1,000 Coupons

Arena Round 3

Arena Round 3 gives you a 5-shot, bolt-action Sniper Rifle and puts you up against 5 well-armed Stalkers. Fortunately, you'll have the advantage of distance at the beginning.

Focus on trying to take out at least two of the enemy Stalkers with your M701 Super. When your magazine runs out, switch to your pistol and get moving; if you try to stay in one spot, they'll flank you or flush you out with grenades. You should have more than enough ammo to take these enemies down unless you're a really bad shot.

Your Equipment

  • SEVA-V Suit
  • M701 Super (5-Shot, Bolt Action Sniper Rifle)
  • UDP Compact
  • 10 .308 W
  • 50 .45 ACP AP
  • 3 Medkit
  • 3 Bandage

Enemies

  • 1 Stalker with a Viper-5
  • 1 Stalker with an AKM-74U
  • 1 Stalker with an AKM-74S
  • 2 Stalkers with a GP37

Reward

  • 2,000 Coupons

Arena Round 4

The fourth round of the Arena puts you up against a Chimera, a massive tanky mutant that is similar to the Yao Guai of the Fallout series, but much, much tougher. On Stalker difficulty (normal difficulty), you can stand up on some boxes and stay out of its way while pumping it full of shots from the Dnipro.

It took me 180 out of my 240 bullets to take down the Chimera on Stalker difficulty; I suspect that it would be much, much more difficult on Veteran difficulty. Use the terrain to your advantage and run away if you're in a vulnerable position.

Your Equipment

  • PSZ-5D Universal Protection
  • Dnipro
  • 240 5.45x39mm PS
  • 3 Medkit
  • 5 Bandages

Enemies

  • 1 Chimera (The two-headed, bearlike mutant)

Reward

  • 4,000 Coupons

Arena Round 5 (Final Round)

The Round 5 Fight with the Shotgun
You can fight Tyrant with either an AK-74U or a TOZ-34, but your gun alone won't save you...

I'm going to be real, the fight against Tyrant on Stalker difficulty (normal difficulty) feels borderline impossible and I haven't been able to win. I have an understanding of what you probably should do to win, but I haven't quite been able to execute it.

Tyrant begins the fight atop a raised platform with four propane canisters. If you can hit one of the canisters while he's next to it, he'll be knocked over and exceedingly vulnerable. Take care, though, as Tyrant could shoot the canisters and hurt you as well.

You have the choice of two guns, but neither of them will have enough ammo to get the job done with body shots. You also don't have much in the way of healing supplies, either. You'll need to be patient, focus on headshots, and avoid taking damage as much as possible. You simply won't be able to brute force your way through this fight.

Your Equipment

Your equipment in the fifth and final round is determined by the conversation you have with Tyrant before the fight. You'll get one of two loadouts depending on which option you choose:

  • "An AKM-74U"
    • Berill-5M Armored Suit
    • AKM-74U
    • 120 5.45x39mm PS
    • 2 Medkit
    • 3 Bandage
  • "The double."
    • Berill-5M Armored Suit
    • TOZ-34
    • 30 12x76mm Slug
    • 1 Medkit
    • 2 Bandage

Enemies

  • A heavily armored Stalker equipped with an AKM-74U and grenades

Reward

  • 8,000 Coupons (estimated)
